Den-O showdown?
Just got back from Sungei Wang for that Den-O promotion thingie (Come to think... I never remembered hearing things like this being done in the past -aside from that Gekiranger thing I din see- I mean, last year was Kabuto/Boukenger dub airing, and much more before that...) Anyway, there's two people wearing Den-O suits (Sword and Ax) to promote the series. I'll dread opening the TV to see if Den-O dub had been airing without my knowledge.... but for the lols, why not? If the dubbers can't even give decent voicing for Den-O for all its crackiness, I don't know what to say. I had fun hearing Kabuto dubs last time. XD
Anyway, the promo would be for several days--while the event also had some intervals by the local radio show--so that give chance to the sponsors (Litt Tak and Bandai) to sell their (mostly) Den-O products with some random Hibiki and Kabuto merchandises. Well, my groupie had some geek time taking pics with the two suit people (Heck~ Ryuuta had bad hair day, IGNORE! XDDDD) while after that we had some of those obligatory KR talks and KR merchs ogling at the stores upstairs. ( Collapse )
In a sense, I felt like a ringleader of a mass group of Tokufans, because... if not because of me reviving the idea of cosplaying toku characters since that Ultraman cosplay (by May if memories didn't fail me?) years before, not many people would later come out of their closets and admit that they also loved toku OPENLY without shame at being called kiddies. Aside from a very few 'us'. In many ways, I feel glad. Because inadvertently, I've gain many friends with similar interests.
And only in such usual settings would you find this unusually quiet girl to be talkative in any crowds. But hey, I can be talkative some other times.... like when talking about some AMG fandoms or Jpn/Kor-fandom or in random discussion/public speaking, but I get powered up and chattiness levelled up when touching Tokus. Or Samurai/Ninja talks. What to do? XD
Anyway, the main highlights had been the taking pictures with the rider suit people. XDDD. I might post up the pic in this post later if I'm not lazy to scan the pic or if my friend uploaded the group pic later. (There was other things... but for other days) And Shawn told me of another event next month at MV, the International Toy Fair. *_* If there was nothing coming from heaven to stop me from going there, you bet I'll go there! XDDD Because I'm the ringleader.... and I have two groups to lead there on two days. One being Den-O and another being Decade/W group. Wah so nice~ in a way, I don't really mind missing out on some of the... random minor cosplay (a trend by some people) events I heard my flist goes. Because they appear like mushrooms and you see I like to choose which mushrooms to pick. XDDDD (to my local flists, keep your heads outta gutter XD). So yeah. Then again, too much of a good thing can't be good.
Now back to me watching Agito (and Kaname Jun) and having fun laughing at Houjou whenever he skittles away like a chicken. SERIOUSLY! After seeing that comment about him running away from that Octopus? Lord like a chicken, I cannot stop that image from looping in my head. Hahahahahahaha~
